Create a Compensation Grade Hierarchy

  • Create compensation grades.
  • Security:
    Set Up: Compensation General
     domain in the Core Compensation functional area.
You can create a single superior-subordinate relationship between grades. Example:
Level 1
CEO
CFO
CIO
Level 2
VP Finance
VP Human Resources
VP Sales
Level 3
Manager Engineering
Manager Recruiting
Manager Research
Level 4
Receptionist
Support Analyst
Salesperson
You can also use the
Put Compensation Grade Hierarchy
 web service to create or edit your grade hierarchy.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Compensation Grade Hierarchy
     task.
  2. Create your grade structure.
    Option Description
    Order
    This is the grade level. 1 is the highest level.
    Compensation Grades
    Enter all grades you want associated with the grade level.
