determine the primary and secondary payer on medical expenses.
- Configure theManage Medicare Informationbusiness process in the Benefits functional area.You can include theChange Benefits for Life Eventsubprocess to evaluate whether adding Medicare coverage affects existing benefit plans.
- You can configure theManage Medicare Informationbusiness process on supervisory or retiree organizations.
- Edit Domain Security Policies.Grant permission on these domains:
- Self-Service: Medicareprovides self-service users with access to theMedicare Informationprofile report on their worker profile. The report also has a link to view Medicare information for dependents.
- Person Data: Date of Deathdisplays theDate of Deathfield on theManage Medicare Informationtask.
- Worker Data: Medicare - USAsecures theView Medicare Dataand theMedicare Information for Profilereports.
- Access theMaintain Event Categories and Reasonstask.Create categories and reasons for tracking Medicare information.Security:Set Up: Staffingdomain in the Staffing functional area.
- (Optional) Access theMaintain Medicare Reporting Reasonstask.Select theSelf-Servicecheck box for each reason to display on theManage My Medicare Informationtask for employees and retirees.Security:Set Up: Benefitsdomain in the Benefits functional area.
