Set Up: Tenant Setup - Global
Ensure that you've set up tobacco rates correctly. Otherwise, your tenant might be
missing a behind-the-scenes connection between the dependent types and the coverage
targets. You can create an insurance plan and a rate that uses a dependent coverage target
to make this connection. This plan doesn't need to be in the benefit plan year
definition.
- Access theCreate Insurance Ratetask and create an insurance rate.Select theTobacco Usecheck box.
- Access theMaintain Insurance Coverage Targetstask.Verify that you have an insurance coverage target with valid dependent types of spouse, domestic partner, or dependent. If not, add a coverage target that has 1 of these valid types.
- Access theCreate Benefit Plantask to create an insurance plan.In theCoversprompt, select 1 of the dependent coverage targets. In theBenefits Eligibility and Ratesgrid, select the insurance rate that you've created.
