Create Resource Pool Audience

Create Resource Pool Audience

Security:
Administer Audience
in the System functional area.
When a worker's core attributes change, Workday processes the worker from the audience accordingly by adding or removing them to the audience, if they still meet audience eligibility criteria.
Audience Builder enables you to:
  • Build requirements for an audience using data source filters and related business objects.
  • Create conditions that apply to a segment of the audience.
  • Create conditions that apply to the entire audience.
  • Preview an audience.
A Resource Pool Audience uses the Audience Builder tool to define a dynamic, self-updating membership for a standard resource pool, providing increased flexibility as the Audience Builder can use a wide range of data sources and criteria such as skills, certifications, location, or job profile to define the membership parameters. The membership is kept in sync automatically through a nightly process that refreshes the audience based on the latest worker data.
It is different from Dynamic Resource Pool which is less flexible because you are limited to the specific dimensions available in the setup task. Though, the pool updates automatically as workers' attributes change.
