Steps: Set Up Entity Activity Codes

Security:
Set Up: Customer Accounts
 domain in the Customer Accounts functional area.
Entity activity codes help you categorize the activities of companies, customers, and suppliers in tasks and reports. You can configure different entity activity code types by country. Example: You create entity activity code types and codes that follow the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE) for Brazil, and then assign them to your companies, customers, or suppliers.
  3. Assign entity activity codes to your companies, customers, or suppliers.
    • On the company profile, access the
      Entity Activity Codes
       tab on the
      Edit Company Tax Details
       task from the
      Company
       related actions menu.
    • On the customer profile, click
      Edit
       on
      Overview
      Tax Information
       to access the
      Entity Activity Codes
       tab.
    • On the supplier profile, click
      Edit Entity Activity Codes
       on the
      Tax Information
       tab to access the
      Edit Entity Activity Codes for Suppliers
       task.
    You can only add 1 active entity activity code per code type.
You can configure entity activity code details, such as country, type, or description, in your custom reports for categorization and reporting.
  • Access these reports to view available entity activity codes and code types:

    • View Entity Activity Codes
