Create Entity Activity Codes

  • Configure entity activity code types.
  • Security:
    Set Up: Customer Accounts
     domain in the Customer Accounts functional area.
Workday enables you to configure entity activity codes based on code types for a country to simplify entity activity classifications and reporting. You can configure multiple entity activity codes per entity activity code type.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Entity Activity Codes
     task.
  2. Select an
    Entity Activity Code Type
    .
  3. Add a row in the
    Entity Activity Code
     grid. As you complete the row, consider:
    Option Description
    Code
    Enter a unique code name.
    In Use
    Workday selects this check box when you assign entity activity codes to companies, customers, or suppliers. When the code is in use, you can't:
    • Edit the code name, but you can edit the description.
    • Delete the code.
    Inactive
    Select this check box to inactivate the code.
You can access the
View Entity Activity Codes
 report to view available entity activity codes for each code type.
