Maintain Receivables Worktag Mapping Rules for Overpayments

Security:
Set Up: Customer Accounts
 domain in the Customer Accounts functional area.
You can create receivables worktag mapping rules for overpayments to automatically select worktags during high-volume transaction processing of customer overpayments.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Receivables Worktag Mapping Rules
     task.
  2. Click
    Edit Worktag Mapping Rules
    .
  3. Complete the task:
    Option Description
    Receivables Worktag Mapping Type
    Workday automatically sets the receivables worktag mapping type to
    Overpayment
    .
    Default Resulting Worktags
    Select 1 or more default resulting worktags.
    When:
    • Primary Worktag Balancing
       is enabled, select a balancing worktag for the configured worktag type.
    • Worktag Usage
       has defined a
      Primary Worktag Type
       for the taggable type
      Customer Invoice Writeoff
       and
      Overpayment
      , select a worktag for the configured worktag type.
    Mapping Dimensions
    Select at least 1 mapping dimension and 1 worktag per rule:
    • You can't specify the same mapping dimensions for more than 1 rule.
    • You can use the same worktags in multiple rules.
    Rule Name
    Enter a unique name for each rule.
    Base Currencies
    Select a base currency that supports the numeric value with decimal precision entered in the
    Threshold Amount in Base Currency
     field.
    Threshold Amount in Base Currency
    Enter a numeric value with decimal precision.
You can:
  • View the list of rules on the
    Maintain Receivables Worktag Mapping Rules
     task. To view rule details, access the rule's related actions menu.
  • Select the
    Apply Worktag Mapping Rules
     check box on the
    Create Customer Payment Application Rule
     task.
To:
  • Edit or remove the existing worktag mapping rules, access the
    Edit Receivables Worktag Mapping Rules
     task.
  • View the details of a rule for the worktag mapping type overpayment, access the
    View Receivables Overpayment Worktag Mapping Rule
     report.
