Stop Accounting Center Business Process Event
You can optionally, configure the Accounting Center Event to stop the business process if the business process meets certain conditions. Example: If the Prism dataset fails to publish you can use the
Publish Prism Dataset Job Status
field as an entry condition to abort the business process.You can stop the business process for any of these stages:
- Enrichment
- Detailed Accounting
- Summarization
- (Optional) Add the Roles - Source System security group to theAccounting Center Summarization Eventsecurity policy.When you grant a user access to a business process through a constrained role-based security group, Workday limits access to each accounting source based on the user role.
- Access the Accounting Center Event business process definition for which you want to abort the event if it meets certain conditions.Example:
- Accounting Center Enrichment Eventbusiness process for the Enrichment stage.
- Accounting Center Detailed Accounting Eventbusiness process for the Detailed Accounting stage.
- Accounting Center Summarization Eventbusiness process for the Summarization stage.
- Add an additional step ofServiceand in theSpecifycolumn, selectAbort Accounting Center Event.
- Add conditional rules to create conditions when the Accounting Center process should or shouldn't run theAbortevent. Example: Add a conditional rule ofTruefor thePublish Prism Dataset Job Statusfield if you want the Accounting Center process to skip theAbortstep when the Prism dataset is successfully published. Add a conditional rule ofFalseif you want the Accounting Center process to run theAbortevent when the Prism dataset fails to publish.When adding conditional rules, consider using these 4 Custom Fields:FieldDescription

Workday aborts the business process if the business process meets the defined conditions.
You can either Retry or Force Complete the business process.
