- What application tiles are visible in the User Provisioning Workspace (UPW)?
- All Adaptive Planning instances that are configured for UPA in that particular Workday environment are visible in UPW. Example: In Workday production environment, in UPW, you don’t see Adaptive Planning sandbox instances.
- What types of security groups are supported with UPW?
- UPW supports user-based and role-based (unconstrained) security groups.
- When I use a security group in UPW, does it get synced to Adaptive Planning?
- No, only users within the security groups get synced to Adaptive Planning. The security groups themselves aren't synced.
- What’s the frequency of user sync? Can I change it?
- If users are:
- Part of a user-based security group, then they get synced in real time.
- Part of a role-based security group (unconstrained), then they get synced within an hour .
- Which users are synced after UPA configuration is done?
- After UPA configuration is done, only the users that are either added or removed from the security groups are synced to Adaptive Planning. Users that are already synced aren't touched unless something changes.
- What happens when a security group attached to a provisioning policy changes?
- If users are added or removed from security groups, the changes get reflected automatically in Adaptive Planning.
- What's the matching criteria for users between Workday and Adaptive Planning?
