Create Org Models and Scenarios

Configure the
Design Org Models
business process. To create org models, ensure that you’re part of a security group assigned as org model owners on the
Shared Participation
step.
To use custom calculations for workforce costs, ensure you configured the necessary calculated fields on the Headcount Plan Line Details business object.
Security:
  • Manage: Org Models
domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
  • Participate: Org Models
domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
  • Set Up: Org Model
domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
  • Worker Data: All Positions
    in the Staffing functional area.
As an administrator or org model owner, you can use org design and scenario modeling to model organizational changes in a secure, sandbox environment. You can create multiple "what-if" scenarios to restructure hierarchies, move positions, and modify attributes without affecting your live HCM data until you’re ready to execute.
  1. Access the
    Org Models and Scenarios
    dashboard.
  2. Select
    Create

    My Tasks
items to people assigned to org model participant roles in these organizations.
    Security Groups for Owners

    Cost Estimate By

column to check before you create the org model.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
We automatically navigate you to the
    View Org Model

    • Display or enable the
      Actions

    • Display the
      Org Model
section of the related actions menu for your model.
    • Send
