Share and Collaborate on Org Model Scenarios as Owner

  • Ensure that your security administrator assigns you to an org model owner role on the organizations included on the org model.
  • Security:
    Manage: Org Models
domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
As an org model owner, you can use your
Design Org Model
My Tasks
item to:
  • Share the org model with additional individual or security groups of participants. When you share the org model with additional people, you don’t add those people as additional owners.
  • Launch the scenario so you can access the same visual org modeling interface that your collaborators use.
  • Review changes made to scenarios.
  • Submit scenarios.
You can use the visual org modeling interface to:
  • Click and drag organizations or positions to move them to different parts of the hierarchy.
  • Select multiple organizations or positions to perform bulk edits or moves.
  • Use related actions on org nodes to create subordinate orgs, edit orgs, inactivate or reactivate orgs, assign roles, create positions, or edit positions.
  • View key metrics like Total Workforce Cost, Headcount, FTE, Span of Control, and Layers. These metrics update dynamically as you make changes.
When you collaborate on a scenario, all of the information we display uses data that’s current to today’s date. This information includes:
  • Hierarchy structure.
  • Role assignees.
When you collaborate on multiple scenarios in 1 model, you can access all those scenarios from the same
