Add Rows in Cube Sheets

Add Rows in Cube Sheets

  • Identity your sheet as a cube sheet. See Concept: Sheet Types.
  • To add rows on a version scenario, create a scenario version in
    Model Management
    .
  • Ensure that you have access to any versions or scenario versions where you want to change data.
  • Security:
    • Editable Sheet Access
       permission.
    • To create dimension values directly on the sheet for new rows, configure access to the
      Edit Dimension on Sheet
       permission.
You can add rows on cube sheets to find specific rows whether or not they're suppressed. This functionality makes large cube sheets more manageable. When you add rows, you filter the dimensions that you currently display in the rows.
To activate the button to add rows on cube sheets, change your display options and dimension filters.
  2. (Optional) To propose changes to the base data using a scenario version, from the version prompt, select the base version to expand it.
  3. (Optional) Select the scenario version that’s nested inside the base version.
  4. Select
    Suppress rows if all zeros or blank
     from the
    Display Options
     menu on the toolbar.
  5. For each dimension filter, select a dimension that you can't expand.
    These dimensions are the innermost values on your nested dimension structure.
    We activate the
    Add Row
     button after you configure your display options and dimension filters. If you still can't select the
    Add Row
     button, save the sheet.
  6. Select
    Add Row
    .
    You can only multiselect for the innermost values on your nested dimension structure.
We display the row and automatically scroll to that row on the sheet. We move your cursor to the first cell of the row.
Change the data on each unlocked cell of your row or add new data.
