FAQ: Why is my PTD report column displaying blanks for accounts?

FAQ: Why is my PTD report column displaying blanks for accounts?

If you have a Period to Date (PTD) column that displays blanks in your report, review these options:
  • The
    Year to date as of
    for the PTD element.
  • The
    Account Time Stratum
    for the GL accounts.
To review the element properties of the PTD element, in the report builder, right-click the element and select
Properties
.
To review the time stratum for the accounts, select
Modeling
Model Management
General Ledger Accounts
and view the account details.
The time stratum for the accounts in your model must match the rollup stratum you select for the PTD element in the report. If these options don't match, the report columns display blanks for the accounts.
Example: You want to display 4000 Revenue GL account data in your report for year to date as of Jan 2023. You notice that the account time stratum for the 4000 Revenue account displays as
Month
in your model. In the report builder, you select
Jan 2023
in the
Year to date as of
field of the
Year To Date
PTD time element.
