FAQ: What YTD values can I drill into in matrix reports?
When you drill on values in matrix reports, the Explore Cell window displays. You can use Explore Cell to drill into any months or rollup of months such as quarters or fiscal years. You can't drill into values that the reports generate artificially.
Example: In a standard calendar fiscal year (January-December), you can drill into these values:
- January YTD, which is the equivalent of drilling into a single month on a sheet.
- March YTD, which is the equivalent of drilling into Q1.
- December YTD, which is the equivalent of drilling into FY.
You can't drill into July YTD as it's a collection of 7 months that the report rolled up together artificially.
