FAQ: Can I Revert Actuals Overlay to Plan Data?
Actuals Overlay does not replace the plan data. It only covers the data. To expose the plan data again, you can turn off actuals overlay for the account or you can adjust the overlay periods.
Turning off actuals overlay removes actuals overlay from all versions for the account and impacts calculations that reference the overlay periods. To turn off actuals overlay:
- SelectModelingfrom the main menu.
- Go to the account settings. Select:
- General Ledger Accounts
- Custom Accounts
- Metric Accounts
- Assumptions
- For cube and modeled accounts, Get to the Sheet Summary to Edit Sheets and select the account link.
- From the account list, highlight the account.
- ForActuals Overlay, selectNo actuals for account (show plan data).
- Save.
You can also adjust the overlay periods in the version setting:
- SelectModelingfrom the main menu.
- SelectVersions.
- Select an earlier date from theStart of Planprompt.
- Save.
