As an administrator, you can add time periods to your legacy calendar so that you can either:
  • Retroactively add time periods that happened in the past so that you have historical data.
  • Start planning for new time periods that will happen in the future.
Adding time periods to a legacy calendar automatically generates default labels. You can change these labels. Once you add new time periods to your calendar, you can update your versions and reports to display these new time periods.
  1. Select
    Modeling
    from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Time
    .
  3. Depending on whether you want to add time periods into the past or future, select either of these icons:
    • Extend backward five years
    • Extend forward five years
On all of versions where you want to add or remove time periods, change the time periods that you can see on the version:
  • For plan versions, change the
    Start of plan
    or
    End of plan
    .
  • For actuals versions, change the
    Start of version
    or
    End of version
    .
If you use Excel Interface for OfficeConnect, update the elements in your existing reports to display the new time periods.
