Troubleshooting: Decrease Cube Sheet Capacity
When cube sheets exceed capacity, you can't view or change data. Your cube sheets exceed capacity due to issues in the cube sheet itself or in your model.
Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
The cube sheet includes calculated accounts that are either:
| Security: Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas permission.
In general, we recommend setting a data entry override for actuals versions. |
The cube sheet includes inactive or unnecessary levels.
If the cube sheet uses cube assumptions by default, these cube assumptions apply to all included levels. Cube assumptions increase how much data the cube sheet uses. | Security:

Linked accounts included on the cube sheet either:
| Example: You only want to bring in data for 1 attribute or dimension value. Change the link to only bring in that value.
To get multiple dimension values from the same account, we recommend that you link to the account multiple times. With each link, select the next dimension value. This method performs better than 1 link to the account without any filters. Security: Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas permission.

The timespan of the version is too broad. | Ensure that your versions only include the timespan that you need for both your plan and actuals versions.
For plan versions, we recommend that you:
For actuals versions, we recommend that you:
Security: Versions permission.

On the level structure, levels exist that are:
| Change the level availabilities on your version so that these levels are no longer available.
|
The overall scope of the cube sheet is too broad. | Split the cube sheet into 2 smaller sheets.
