Tag Levels with Attribute Values

Tag Levels with Attribute Values

Level attributes group data associated with levels differently than the level hierarchy. You can achieve this result by tagging levels with attribute values. For examples and more information on level attributes, see Concept: Level Dimensions and Attributes.
  1. Select
    Modeling
    from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Levels
    .
  3. Highlight the level that you want to tag.
You can tag a parent level or an individual levels. When you tag a parent, you automatically tag each child level with the same attribute value.
  4. From the
    Details
    panel, expand the
    Level Attributes
    section.
Each level attribute is a separate drop-down prompt.
  5. From the drop-down prompts, select the attribute value.
  6. Save.
The data of the level is tagged with the attribute value. You can now report on the attribute value to pull the data of all levels that are tagged with the attribute.
