Delete Shared Formulas

Security:
Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas
 permission.
Deleting shared formulas is immediate. You don’t get a chance to cancel or undo this action. You delete shared formulas across the entire timespan of the version for the account and levels selected.
Deleting the formula doesn’t delete user edits at the same intersection automatically. When you also want to delete user edits, first clear the user edits, then delete the shared formula.
  1. Select
    Formulas
     from the main menu.
  2. From the drop-down prompt above the toolbar, select a version.
    You can’t delete shared formulas from locked or archived versions.
  3. From the drop-down prompt in the toolbar, select an account.
  4. Expand the level list so that you can see all the shared formulas for the account and version.
  5. Icons display in the
    Edits
     column next to levels that have user edits.
    When your intent is to remove all existing data from the version for the account and level, you should clear the user edits as well.
  6. Select the check boxes next to the levels with shared formulas that you want to delete.
  7. From the toolbar, click
    Delete
    .
Removing user edits and formulas replaces the values for the account and level with blanks in the version timespan.
