Security:
Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas
permission. When you create shared formulas, your team can override the calculated value directly from the cells of sheets. Users can replace shared formulas with data entry or another formula. When users have overwritten the shared formula, icons display next to the levels on the
Formulas
page in the Edits
column. The icons display for the selected account and version. To review all user edits for the version across all accounts, you can download an Excel file by using the print button from the toolbar to select
Formulas of all accounts
. When you remove user edits, you remove all edits across the timespan of the version for the selected account and levels. The removal of user edits is immediate. You don’t get a chance to cancel or undo this action.
You might want to revert user edits to the calculated value of the shared formula because:
- The users made the edits by accident.
- An admin copied the edits when they cloned the version by accident.
- You want all cells across timespans to have the default formula again.
- SelectFormulasfrom the main menu.
- From the drop-down prompt above the toolbar, select a version. You can’t remove user edits from locked versions.
- Select an account from the drop-down prompt in the toolbar.
- Expand the level list to display all the levels. When the level is gray, you can’t remove the user edits because Workflow status locked the level.
- Select any levels with user edits that you want to revert.
- From the toolbar, clickRemove user edits.
