Import Dimensions and Dimension Values

Import Dimensions and Dimension Values

Security:
  • Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas
    permission.
  • Structure Import
    permission.
Create many dimensions and dimensions values, or make bulk changes to existing ones, with the import function. You can either:
  • Export the current structure, which you can modify in Excel before importing. When you want to make changes to version availability, we recommend using the export function.
  • Download the Excel template, and fill out the blank
    Import
    tab.
When preparing an Excel spreadsheet for import, don't leave more than 1 blank row between rows. The import ignores all rows after the 2nd blank row.
To avoid import errors, don't alter the Name and Code pairings controlled by the workforce planning configuration manager.
