A
scorecard
visualizes a series of data in a tabular format that summarizes actuals versus planned data, and variance. This chart often includes a micro chart to highlight key metrics.Appearance Settings

| We select this option by default to display the chart in presentation mode. Turn the toggle off to hide the chart in presentation mode. |

| We automatically add preconfigured sections based on the calendar setup for your instance. You can change or delete these sections. Example: When your calendar uses months, quarters, and years, we deliver these sections: Month, Quarter, and Year.

| Select the segment of time that the column is based on:
Variance or Variance Percent for Type , you must also select time alignments for the reference version and comparison version.

| Enter a positive numeric value for the number of periods to count backwards or forwards. Available when you select Leading or Trailing for Time Alignment . Example: Select Trailing for Time Alignment , then enter 1 for Period Count . When the current year is 2016, the data reference is 2015.

Reference Version | Configure the comparison version for a variance analysis. We automatically select your default version, but you can change the selection. Available when you select Variance or Variance Percent for Type . Example: To compare Actuals to Forecast , select Actuals for the Reference Version and Forecast for the Comparison Version .

| Set the time relative to the reference period displayed on the perspective toolbar and based on the selected strata.
Single Period spans, set the relative time for the chart. For Range spans, set the relative time for the start and end of the range.
