Account Attributes on Dashboards

You can now filter and drill Adaptive Planning dashboards by account attributes that already exist in your model. You can apply those attributes on perspectives, charts, and hubs.
Business Benefits
- Lets you analyze dashboard data with the same alternate account groupings you already maintain, so you don't have to recreate those groupings as custom accounts.
- Gives dashboard consumers a shared filter context for account attributes across a perspective, a chart series, and a hub.
- Helps you investigate a number by drilling into the account attribute values behind it.
Changes
End users can:
- Select account attributes in perspective filters so the dashboards in that perspective respect the selected account attribute values.
- Filter a chart series by account attribute values
- Use account attributes in hub filters
- Drill from dashboard data by account attribute.
What Do I Need to Do?
No action is required to keep current dashboards working.
To filter or drill by an account attribute:
- Use an account attribute that is already defined in your model.
- Add that account attribute to the perspective filter, the chart series filter, or the hub filter. You can also select it when you drill.
What Happens if I do Nothing?
Your dashboards continue to use their current filters and the standard account structure. You can't filter or drill those dashboards by account attributes until you add the account attributes to the filters or use them when you drill.
