Create a Google Cloud Storage Connection

Create a Google Cloud Storage Connection

Security:
Prism: Manage Connection
domain in the Prism Analytics functional area.
You can create a Google Cloud Storage connection and use it as a source in a data change task.
After you create a connection, Workday displays it on the
Connections
tab of the
Data Catalog
report. You can right-click the connection to view or edit it.
  1. Navigate to the
    Data Catalog
    .
  2. Select
    Create
    Connection
    .
  3. Select
    Google Cloud Storage
    .
  4. Enter these values:
    Option
    Description
    Name
    The connection name must be unique in the Data Catalog. Workday displays this name in the Data Catalog and when you select a connection in a data change task.
    Description
    (Optional) Workday recommends using the description to define the use of the connection and help differentiate between different connections.
    Project ID for Billing
    The Project Id of the billing project for executing jobs.
    Bucket
    The bucket name associated with the Google Cloud project.
    Service Account Key
    Service Account Key in JSON format.
  5. (Optional) Use the
    Test Connection
    button to verify that Workday can connect to Google Cloud Storage using the connection information you configured.
Workday creates the Google Cloud Storage connection and displays it on the
Connections
tab in the
Data Catalog
.
