Concept: Survey Channels
Employees can receive and complete the survey through various channels, depending on what is most appropriate in your organization. Each employee has a unique survey token and all survey channels lead employees to their own assigned survey. If an employee can access the survey through multiple channels, they can still only submit their answers to the current survey round once. Example: An employee completes the survey in the app, and later opens the survey on email. The landing page will state that the survey is complete and offer a reset option.
Email is the standard survey distribution method. Any employee that has an email address on their employee record will receive a survey email if you enable the option on the schedule.
Even though notifications to employees in the same time zone trigger simultaneously, the survey staggers the send-out so employees might receive them with slight difference from one another. Employees in different time zones receive their notifications at the correct time in their specific time zone, depending on the conditions you have set.
