With this release, we improve the way that we display the comment manager slide-in panel. This functionality displays for dashboard users that have the

View comment managers

access control permission.

We now display all managers in the reporting hierarchy when opening the manager slide-in panel on a survey comment, regardless of the segment context.

Previously, when viewing comments through a specific segment's context, the comment manager list displayed only managers that were available in that segment context. Additionally, when opening the same comment on a standalone page, the list displayed all managers in the reporting line. This new release makes the 2 versions of this list more consistent, reducing confusion.

The comment manager list still follows visibility thresholds and continues to only display managers who meet the necessary criteria.

We also add a

Manager hierarchy

tab to the manager slide-in panel, which explains the functionality and the criteria for a manager to display in this list.

The consolidation of the 2 versions of the comment manager list aims to provide more consistency and reduces confusion. Additionally, the help text can help reduce manager questions to company administrators and subsequent Support cases.
