FAQ: Why Do Leavers Still Display in the Participation List?
In short, this is because their responses are still valid according to your organization's data visibility window.
The visibility window that your company has selected for current employees, as well as for leavers, acts as a filter for the aggregated data that contributes to your dashboard results. During each survey round, the dashboard moves forward in time and abides by the visibility window settings.
This means that the scores and participation from leavers continues to contribute to your team's dashboard for a period of time after they leave. Example: Your company set the visibility window for leavers to 3 months. As a result, an employee's survey responses are still part of your current score for 3 months (12 weeks exactly) after their separation date. By the time the next survey starts, if 12 weeks have passed since the employee's leaving date, their response stops contributing to the current score.
The visibility window only moves forward during survey rounds, automatically validating responses as the round progresses.
