Concept: Shareable Dashboard
A shareable dashboard is a shortened dashboard version without sensitive content, like comments and segment comparison.
Typically managers share the dashboard with their team, or display it on a monitor screen in the workplace. We also recommend presenting the dashboard in team meetings, to increase participation and create an action plan together.
Sharing Settings
You can set the dashboard to be private (only available after sign-in), or public (available to anyone with the link). You can select which question sets to include in the shared dashboard. Each question set displays as a separate tab within the shared dashboard.
Overall score, comparison to benchmark, and participation over time are always visible on the shared dashboard. You can additionally enable:
- Driver scores.
- Strengths and focus areas.
- Actions (only the actions that you marked as visible).
- Values (Prerequisite: Engagement question set.
A focus area only displays on the personal dashboard if the manager accepts it. An action only displays in a shared dashboard if the manager sets it as a shared action and it links to a focus area.
You can share the dashboard of any segment you manage. It's not possible to share a segment within another segment view.
It's only possible to share 1 dashboard per segment context. The sharing settings that you configure in 1 question set dashboard carry through to other question set dashboards of the same segment context.
The shared dashboard updates automatically to reflect the manager dashboard. If you share the link once, employees can continue accessing it, unless you revoke access to the dashboard and the link becomes invalid. Updating the sharing settings on an already shared dashboard has immediate effect.
Private Dashboard Considerations
When you share a private dashboard, we prompt employees with the option to sign in, or to create a password if they haven't yet.
You can also go to to mark public dashboards:
- That you previously shared as private.
- As private individually or in bulk.
You can also open your shared dashboard modal to update your sharing settings.
When you share a private dashboard:
- Within Peakon, we prompt users who don't use SSO to sign in when they access the dashboard. If the user hasn’t created a password, we instead prompt them to create one.
- Outside of Peakon, we prompt users who don’t use SSO to sign in using their existing credentials. If a user hasn’t created a password yet, they must click the Forgot password link to create one.
Example: You copy the link to the private dashboard to your clipboard, and send it in an email thread to a worker who hasn’t created a password. When the worker attempts to access the dashboard, they must click the Forgot password link to create a password and set up their account.
Access
You can enable the

Managers can also revoke their shared dashboard, or update the sharing settings at any time. After revoking a shared dashboard, the URL displays a 404 message.
Localization
When you open a shared dashboard, the dashboard uses the language of your browser, if it's a supported dashboard language. You can also change the language using the drop-down menu. It's not possible to restrict the shared dashboard to a specific language for everyone.
