FAQ: Why Did Scores Change Outside a Survey Round?
After a survey round closes, its survey data typically remains frozen in time without any further score changes.
However, in some cases you may notice that the scores have changed. Example: You receive a digest email after the survey closes, which notes the main score as 7.6, but the main score is actually 7.7 when you open your dashboard.
Scores from historical survey rounds can change for these reasons:
- Employees submit late responses during the 2 week soft close period after a survey round ends.
- Your company backdates employee data that retroactively moves employees in or out of specific segments, along with some of their historical scores. Example: A backdated department move.
- Your company has applied retroactive termination dates to employees, which made some of the responses of those employees outside the validity window.
