We perform period updates to industry benchmarks and True Benchmark to ensure you're always working with the most up-to-date benchmark comparisons. Our engineering and data science teams provide the updates automatically.
Changes to industry benchmarks only impact dashboards with external benchmarking. Since most segment dashboards use the internal benchmark (company engagement score), there’s no impact due to benchmark updates.
In the majority of cases, the updates are minor and will have minimal effect on your benchmarks. Benchmark updates are retroactive on historical dashboards, but don't impact past calculations based on difference to benchmark. Sometimes we create new industry or subindustry options when enough data points emerge.
