Concept: Skipping Workflow Stages
You can streamline workflows by configuring skipped stages so that ticket participants focus only on necessary steps. This feature enhances efficiency by either excluding unnecessary stages or including stages under specific conditions.
Unconditional Stage Skipping
You can permanently exclude any unnecessary stage from your workflow with the
Skip Stage
option on workflows in Workflow Builder. This feature prevents ticket participants from viewing the selected stage.Conditional Stage Skipping
You can also limit stage availability based on certain criteria by setting a condition that determines if the workflow skips or includes a stage.
Example: Create a condition based on responses to your intake form. In an NDA workflow, set the workflow to skip the
Review
stage unless the submitter responds Yes to the question Does this require review from Legal? The legal team is only contacted when necessary, enabling you to submit, sign, and complete standard NDAs quickly. You can also configure the workflow to skip the
