Create Custom Object Services
Create an assembly project.
The custom object service specifies aliases for any custom objects that you refer to in your integration.
- Open the assembly in the Assembly Editor.
- On thePalette, expand theIn Transportstab.
- Drag aworkday-intransport from thePaletteto the Assembly Editor.
- In the Assembly Editor, click theworkday-intransport.
- On theServicestab of thePropertiesview for theworkday-intransport, clickCreate custom-object-service.
- On theService Namewindow, enter a name for your custom object service.
- On thePropertiesview for the custom object service, clickAdd New Entryto add a new alias. As you complete the task, consider:
Option Description AliasThe alias of your custom object.DescriptionA text description of your custom object.Custom Object ReferenceThe name of your custom object as it displays in your Workday tenant. - ClickSelect a Custom Object.
- On theSelect Custom Objectwindow, specify your Workday tenant environment and browse to your custom object.
- ClickOK.
- ClickSave.
Studio saves the custom object service on the
workday-in
transport of your integration.Deploy your integration and configure the custom object service on your integration system in Workday.
