Set Up Revenue Contract Agent
To register and use agents in the Agent System of Record fully in your tenants, you must sign the Universal Main Service Agreement (UMSA). UMSA is required for non-Production and Production tenants for Workday-Built agents.
To determine your subscription service agreement:
- Select your profile avatar on Community.
- SelectProfile.
- On your profile page, select your organization's name, which is beneath your name and next to your job title.
- View your Subscription Service Agreement value. If the value is MSA, you must sign the Universal Main Service Agreement (UMSA).
Flex credits are only required for registering and using agents in your production tenants. You will not be able to register and use any agents in production until you've signed these agreements. UMSA is required for non-production and production tenants for Workday-Built agents. UMSA is not required for non-production tenants for self-built agents.
- Opt in to the Workday Flex Credits and Platform Entitlement Policy. This is only required for registering and using agents in your production tenants.
- You must have access to the Workday Contract Intelligence product.
- If you are:
- An existing Workday Contract Intelligence customer, complete the steps in this topic, submit the Revenue Contract Agent intake form, and add any new users to your existing User Provisioning Workspace. See Create User Provisioning Groups.
- A new Workday Contract Intelligence customer without a full deployment, submit the Revenue Contract Agent intake form to initiate the tenant setup process, which can take up to 5 days. In the meantime, set up your User Provisioning Workspace. For instructions, see Steps: Set Up User Provisioning Workspace. After completing the steps, proceed with the steps in this topic.
- A new Workday Contract Intelligence customer with full deployment services, your services team ensures your tenant is set up correctly. Once they complete the setup, proceed with the steps in this topic.
- Security:Set Up: Revenue Contract Agentdomain in the Customer Contracts functional area.
The Revenue Contract Agent is an AI agent that supports the creation of customer contracts from uploaded documents and provides insights into those contracts. You can register, configure, and activate the Revenue Contract Agent to enable users to extract key data from customer contract documents and populate the data into Workday.
- Access theAgent Management Hub.
- Select theUnregistered Workday Agenttab.
- ClickRegisterfor the Revenue Contract Agent.You can only register agents in the products your organization has access to.
- Select theConfirmcheck box and clickOK.Workday moves the agent to theAgent Registrytab.
- Select theAgent Registrytab and then click the agent name.
- ClickConfigure Agent.
- In theStatuscolumn, enable these skills:
- Revenue Contract Creation
- Revenue Contract Insights
- From theAvailable Toprompt, select the security groups that you want to make able to access each particular skill.Workday evaluates both user access to the agent and to the APIs the agent is executing as tools at runtime. Workday recommends that you evaluate alignment between the security groups in theAvailable Toprompt and the security groups that have permissions for the tools the agent might execute.
- ClickActivate.
- Access theSet Up Revenue Contract Agent Configurationtask.
- Enable or disable the contract header and line fields to specify which fields the Revenue Contract Agent extracts from uploaded documents, using the Revenue Contract Creation skill.
- ClickOK.
Workday:
- Displays theCreate from Documentcreation option on theCreate Customer Contracttask.
- Enables you to access theUpdate with Revenue Contract Agenttask from the related actions menu of existing draft customer contracts.
- Enables you to ask questions through Workday Chat on theEdit Customer Contracttask about documents used to create draft customer contracts.
