Concept: BP Optimize Agent Flex Credit Estimator

Concept: BP Optimize Agent Flex Credit Estimator

The BP Optimize Agent provides immediate, data-driven Flex Credit estimates to help you manage your budget before you activate or reconfigure the agent.
Workday calculates these Flex Credit projections using a 12-month average of your tenant’s actual historical event volumes for your selected product lines. We multiply that average by your selected lookback period and round up to the nearest 100 to provide these estimates:
  • Estimated Initial Flex Credits:
The immediate, one-time consumption for your initial activation (or a new setup following a deactivation purge). This covers the cost of analyzing your historical data based on your selected lookback period and product lines. Note that this estimate displays as 0 if a waiver applies to your first-time activation.
  • Estimated Flex Credits for Subsequent Months (Recurring):
The expected ongoing monthly consumption following your activation. On the first of each month, the BP Optimize Agent brings in your previous month's business process events to analyze and generate new insights.
  • Estimated Monthly Difference:
The change in expected monthly usage when you update your product lines during a reconfiguration.

Viewing Flex Credit Estimates

Before you can access these estimates, you must initiate the setup or reconfiguration of the agent. See Set Up BP Optimize Agent.
As you configure your analysis scope, the configuration summary page dynamically displays your estimates.
The configuration summary page displays these estimates when you configure the agent in a sandbox tenant, but you aren't charged Flex Credits in that environment.

Limitations

  • The Flex Credit estimator is intended strictly for budgeting purposes.
  • These estimates are provided for informational purposes only, and Workday is not responsible for their accuracy.
  • Actual Flex Credit usage might vary from the initial projections based on real-time event volumes and changes in your tenant environment.
