Pre-Identify Candidates After Job Publish
- Make sure theEnable Pre-Identified Jobcheck box is selected (). You can also select the status that pre-identified candidates will have once applied.
- Make sure theAccept Pre-Identified Candidates?setting on the job is set toYes.
- You can change this setting fromNotoYesafter the job publish process via a job edit. However, you can't change it fromYestoNo, in case pre-identified candidates are already applied to the job.
- Have thejob.pre_id.viewpermission, which enables you to view thePre-Identifiedtab on the job.
With the pre-identify feature, you can invite candidates that match the requirements to apply to the new position. Note that pre-identifying candidates is optional and might not be relevant to your organization.

- On the job, navigate to thePre-Identifiedtab.
- Apply an existing candidate or referral candidate. Consider:OptionDescriptionApply Existing CandidatesUse this option if you want to apply a candidate who has an existing profile in VNDLY.ClickAdd. Then, select the vendor and the candidate and clickApply.Current Referral CandidatesUse this option if you want to apply a candidate who doesn’t already have a profile in VNDLY.ClickAdd Referral Candidate, complete the form fields, then clickAdd Candidate.
The candidates display on the
Pre-Identified
tab of the job.If you pre-identified a candidate who already had a profile in VNDLY, they'll be applied to the job and added to the
Applicants
tab. If you added a referral candidate, the applicable vendors will receive a notification and can apply the candidate to the job if desired. Once applied, pre-identified candidates will have a
Source Type
of Directed
on work orders, rather than Supplier Sourced
