Steps: Manage Program of Study Honors and Awards
You can create and assign honors and awards to an individual student's program of study on their academic record. Example: A High Distinction award in Applied Mathematics.
These honors and awards differ from the program completion honors and awards associated with the student's conferred credential. Example: A magna cum laude distinction with degree completion.
- Access theCreate Program of Study Honor or Awardtask.As you complete this task, consider:
Option Description Program Honor/Award NameEnter the name of the honor or award exactly as you want it to display on transcripts and student records.ActiveSelect this check box to indicate that only current students with active academic records are eligible for the honor or award.When this check box is cleared, both past and current students are eligible for the honor or award.Security:Set Up: Academic Recordsdomain in the Student Records functional area. - Access theAssign Student Program of Study Honor or Awardtask.Assign the honor or award to a student's program of study record. To assign the honor or award to multiple students, repeat this step.Security:Manage: Program of Study Honors and Awardsdomain in the Student Records functional area.
You and your students can view the honors and awards they receive on:
- TheOverviewreport on the Academics profile group of the student profile.
- Student transcripts.
You can access the:
- Edit Program of Study Honor or Awardtask to edit an honor or award.
- View Program of Study Honor or Awardreport to view an honor or award.
To view students with assigned honors or awards, create a custom report using report fields on these business objects:
- Program of Study Honor or Award Assignment
- Student Program of Study Record
