Reference: Mailing Addresses for Student Refunds

When you generate paper checks for student refunds, Workday prints the mailing address for the student on the refund check. The mailing address is an institutional or home address of the student with a usage of
Student Refund
. Workday doesn't send student refunds to work addresses.
When the student has multiple mailing addresses, Workday selects an address in this precedence order:
  1. Primary institutional address with usage type
    Student Refund
    .
  2. Primary home address with usage type
    Student Refund
    .
  3. Most recently created or updated nonprimary institutional address with usage type
    Student Refund
    .
  4. Most recently created or updated nonprimary home address with usage type
    Student Refund
    .
When the student doesn't have a mailing address with a
Student Refund
 usage type, Workday selects an address in this precedence order:
  1. Primary institutional address with usage type
    Billing Usage Behavior
    .
  2. Primary home address with usage type
    Billing Usage Behavior
    .
  3. Most recently created or updated institutional mailing address.
  4. Primary Institution Address.
  5. Primary Home Address.
