FAQ: Why didn't a payment plan installment recalculate?
A payment plan installment might not recalculate if:
- It's an external payment plan.
- An increased installment falls within theDo Not Increase If Withinwindow for the payment plan of the program of study. Workday recalculates all other future due installments in the payment plan to absorb the changes in the student's financial account.
- The student account falls below the minimum balance threshold. The minimum balance takes precedence over theRecalculate Past Due Installments Untildate control.
- There's only 1 future due installment in the payment plan and the student's financial activity increases the installment amount.
- It was due in the past and the student's financial activity increases the installment amount.
When payment plans don't have any adjustable future due installments, Workday recommends preventing inaccurate student account balances by:
- Canceling the plan.
- Reenrolling the student in a new plan.
