Lock ISIR Transactions
Security:
Manage: ISIR - USA
domain in the Financial Aid functional area. You can manually lock ISIR transactions that are
Active
, Transmitted
,
or Ready to Transmit
to prevent incoming transactions from displacing it as
the active transaction that Workday uses for financial aid processing. Workday automatically locks an ISIR transaction when you complete these business
processes associated with the transaction:
- Federal Verification Event
- ISIR Action Items Event
- Access theISIRreport on the Financial Aid profile group of the student profile.
- From the related actions menu of the transaction, select .
- Select theConfirmcheck box.
When the student receives another ISIR transaction for the same award year and
federal school code as the locked transaction and the locked transaction:
- Is for the primary program of study of the student's reporting record, Workday flags the incoming transaction for further review.
- Isn't for the primary program of study of the student's reporting record, Workday inactivates the incoming transaction.
An incoming ISIR transaction for the same award year and school code can override the
lock if:
- It has a higher transaction number.
- It’s a correction file.
- It initiates new action items.
- The previous ISIR hasn't created any financial aid packages.
When Workday receives such a transaction, it automatically:
- Unlocks and inactivates the previously active transaction.
- Activates the incoming transaction.
