Steps: Set Up Federal Entity IDs

Campus
.Map your academic units and locations to the federal entity identifiers that the U.S. Department of Education assigned to you. The federal entity identifiers enable you to exchange information with federal higher education organizations and databases, including:
- Common Origination and Disbursement (COD)
- FAFSA Processing System (FPS)
- National Student Clearinghouse (NSC)
The Department of Education renamed the Central Processing System (CPS) as the FAFSA Processing System (FPS), effective from the 2024-2025 award year.
- Access theCreate OPEIDtask.Map campus locations to Office of Postsecondary Education Identifiers (OPEIDs). When you run an outbound integration, Workday derives the necessary federal entity identifiers based on the policies of the academic unit for which you're running the integration.
