Edit BBAY 3 Loan Dates

  • You've packaged a BBAY 3 loan for a student.
  • Security:
    Manage: Loan Processing
     domain in the Financial Aid functional area.
When you package financial aid, Workday automatically assigns academic year, loan period, and anticipated disbursement dates based on attendance plans and disbursement schedules. However, BBAY 3 loan dates might not align with those dates because they’re flexible, dynamic, and specific to individual students.
Workday enables you to edit the automatically assigned dates so that you can:
  • Change the dates for a future disbursement based on a student's academic progress.
    Example: If a student hasn't completed the first half of their program by the initial halfway point, you can move the dates forward so that the second loan disbursement doesn't occur until the student completes the first half.
  • Report the correct dates to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) system.
  1. Access the
    Total Financial Assistance
     report on the
    Financial Aid
     profile group of a student profile.
  2. Expand the award year that contains the BBAY 3 loan.
  3. Select
    Edit COD Information
     from the related actions menu of the magnifying glass icon of a BBAY 3 loan and academic period.
  4. Enter:
    • Start and end dates for the academic year, loan period, and payment period.
    • Anticipated disbursement dates.
