FAQ: Can I use Workday to disburse financial aid while using a third-party vendor to process financial aid?

Yes, but you must:
  • Only import awards that are ready to disburse. You’re responsible for ensuring that the funds are eligible for disbursement.
  • Access the
    Configure Disbursement Eligibility Condition Policy
     task to circumvent the eligibility checks that Workday performs to verify that awards are ready to disburse.
    Example: When you use a third-party financial aid vendor, the vendor, not Workday, must verify that Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) has approved federal student aid awards. Configure Workday not to check for COD eligibility when disbursing those awards.
