Create Rules for Displaying Anticipated Payments
Security:
- Set Up: Disbursementdomain in the Financial Aid functional area.
- Set Up: Student Paymentsdomain in the Student Financials functional area.
An anticipated payment display rule defines the conditions for displaying anticipated payments and how long to display them. You can assign anticipated display rules to student award items to control when associated anticipated payments display. Workday displays anticipated payments:
- Once a charge is assessed to the student academic period.
- Until you disburse them or the display window ends.
Displaying anticipated financial aid payments enables students to understand and plan for what they owe after the anticipated payments disburse. Workday subtracts anticipated financial aid payments from unpaid student charges when calculating these amounts for a student:
- Past due amounts.
- Current due amounts.
- Due now amounts.
Students can view their anticipated financial aid payments on the

report on the Student Financials profile group of their student profile. Administrators can view anticipated financial aid payments on the Academic Period
report on the Student Financials profile group of student profiles.
Administrators can also view anticipated financial aid disbursements on the
