Inactivate Student Cohorts
- Security:Manage: Student Cohortdomain in the Academic Advising functional area.
You can inactivate student cohorts that you're no longer using. Inactivated cohorts won't display in any search results or prompts.
You can only inactivate a student cohort when all of its current and future memberships include inactive students.
- Access theFind Student Cohortsreport.
- From the related actions menu of the student cohort, select .
- Select theConfirmcheck box.
When you inactivate a student cohort, Workday appends (Inactive) to its name to help you better differentiate between inactive and active student cohorts.
Users with roles on inactivated cohorts lose security access to the academic records of cohort members.
To reactivate a student cohort, select from its related actions menu.
