Reference: Pensioner Types (UK)

Workday provides four pensioner types that classify pensioner records by their pension circumstances. Use the
Maintain HR Mapping for UK Payroll
task to map your organisation's pensioner employee types to these Workday types. Workday uses the mapped type to determine which occupational pension indicator fields to report in the RTI Full Payment Submission (FPS).
Workday Pensioner Type
Description
FPS Items Populated Automatically
Pensioner – Retiree
A former worker receiving payments from either a registered occupational pension scheme or an annuity.
145 (Occpen Indicator)
Pensioner – Recently bereaved
A surviving spouse or civil partner who's receiving a pension payment because of the original pension scheme member's death.
33 (Occupational pension – recently bereaved indicator)

Pensioner – Dependant
A financial dependant of the original pension scheme member who's receiving pension payments.

Pensioner – Non-Individual
A body, such as a personal representative, trustee, or corporate organisation, receiving pension payments on behalf of a pensioner. Example: When payments continue after the pensioner's death and are paid to an estate.
