Add a Flat Sum Bonus to an Existing Bonus Earning (USA)

  • Security:
    Set Up: Payroll (Calculations - Payroll Specific)
     domain in the Core Payroll functional area.
You can edit an existing bonus earning or create a new flat sum bonus earning. This topic provides instructions for editing your existing bonus earning.
  1. Access the
    Edit Earning
     task.
  2. Select your bonus earning.
  3. Add an
    Effective Date
     that is today or in the future.
  4. Select the
    Subject to State Rules for Flat Sum Bonus
     check box in the
    FLSA
     section.
  5. Select the
    Allow Coverage Dates for Bonuses
     check box in the
    Coverage Dates
     section.
