domain in the IRL Payroll functional area.Snapshot Period
Workday derives the snapshot period from the snapshot date you configure for the company. Workday subtracts 1 year from the snapshot date and adds 1 day to get the start of the period. Example: For a snapshot date of 2026-06-30, the snapshot period runs from 2026-07-01 to 2026-06-30.
The snapshot date you select determines how many pay periods fall within the snapshot period. A snapshot date of 30 June includes 52 weeks. When you select a mid-period snapshot date, the snapshot period can include an additional pay period, depending on the payment dates within the period. Workday recommends using 30 June as the snapshot date. When you can't use 30 June, select the final payment date within the snapshot period.
When you run the
View UK and IRL Gender Pay Gap Hourly Rate of Pay
report, Workday only includes workers who are active within the snapshot period. To ensure you report accurate values, Workday recommends that you don't run the
View UK and IRL Gender Pay Gap Hourly Rate of Pay
report before the end of the snapshot period.
