Insufficient Funds for Superannuation Rule (AUS)

You can decide what happens if a worker has insufficient funds for their voluntary superannuation salary sacrifice.
  1. Access the
    Maintain AUS Superannuation Configuration
     task.
  2. In the
    Employee Paid Voluntary Superannuation Contributions
     section, select an option in the
    Insufficient Funds Rule
     field
    Option Description
    Allow Negative Pay Result
    This option allows the pay result to go into negative, which you can correct during payroll processing. If you don't select an option, this is the default behavior.
    Allow Partial Deduction
    Only the available amount is deducted.
    Suspend Deduction for Pay Result
    A deduction isn't made for the worker's voluntary superannuation sacrifice for this pay result.
