Steps: Configure Superannuation (AUS)

  • Review the setup considerations for superannuation.
  • Set up superannuation as an allowance plan, as either a percentage or amount-based plan.
  • Assign allowance plans to workers, to determine their superannuation rate or amount
You can:
  • Define a default superannuation fund.
  • Define how you want to treat earnings over the Maximum Contributions Base (MCB).
  • Map allowance plans and compensation packages to superannuation guarantee and employer voluntary contributions.
  • Map the superannuation pay components to qualifying earnings.
  • Define a rule for insufficient funds to pay superannuation.
  • Define the valid format of superannuation fund member numbers.
  • Configure specific superannuation rules for groups of workers.
  • Enable or disable superannuation payments for workers who are under the age of 18 and work under 30 hours a week.
  1. Add all of your pay components that are subject to superannuation to the
    AUS Adds to Qualifying Earnings (QE)
    pay component group.
