Reference: Workday Messaging Country Configuration

Workday Messaging is available for phone numbers in specific countries. There are different requirements to acquire a phone number in each country. For countries that require a regulatory bundle, ensure that you upload attachments:
  • One at a time with a file size limit of 5 MB per document.
  • Using one of these formats:
    • JPEG
    • JPG
    • PNG
    • PDF

     task to specify the file types you can upload into Workday.
The length of time it takes to complete a one-way messaging configuration varies based on each country's requirements.
  • For most countries it takes between 24 hours and 7 days to complete a one-way messaging configuration. The conversational messaging configuration can take an additional 24 hours to complete.
  • For the U.S., it takes on average 30 days to complete a one-way messaging configuration due to the time needed for the Application-to-Person (A2P) registration process. The conversational messaging configuration can take an additional 30 days to complete.
For the U.S. and Canada only, you can request a specific area code. If unavailable, Workday secures the next available area code.
